...Jumblat likes to accuse me of being Muslim...just because I try to be fair and tolerant of those whom Christianity slanders and murders. It's very like the charge of "Jew-lover" or "Nigger-lover" to describe those who would speak up for the rights and humanity of anyone the ruling class hates and abuses.

In his mind to be fair and honest means to be of the thing you defend. I'm not Christian, Jewish or Muslim. That means I have no vested interest in defending or attacking any of them from the point of view of loyalty or identification...but I can't help but see that our Muslim friend has been far more fair and tolerant of our Christian than otherwise...and I think all of us can see how our Christian has responded.

Rather than turn the cheek this kind of Christian, which is typical of the vast majority, believes in slapping the turned cheek.
