One more thing...if the Christian Byzantines had conquered Mesopotamia in their centuries-long wars against the Persians, they would killed, as heretics, or exiled, ALL Christian Nestorians because the followers of Nestorious had been branded heretics and persecuted and chased out when not killed, including their leader Nestorious...in fact the Christians of the Persian Empire adopted the teachings and took the name of Nestorious precisely because he was anathema to the Romans...it was their way of hoping to calm the suspicions of the Shaha, so he wouldn´t think they might betray him in favor of the Christian Romans...why would they when they were now followers of the same Bishop whom the Romans had just declared a heretic?

So, had the Christian Romans conquered Mesopotamia, which is where the Nestorians finally wound up after escaping for their lives, the Christians would have been declared heretics and treaed much worse than any Muslims EVER treated a Christian...so, the fact that it was the Aarabs and islam that beat the Christian Romans meant that the Nestorians were safe to believe as they wished, so long as they kept the peace...it would seem then that the very existence today is due, not to Jesus, but to Muhammad, for it was HIS followers who saved the nestorians whereas the followers of Jesus had ALREADY delcared a war against them.

Give credit where credit is due.

Scholars and historians knowe all this...Aprim and assyrians don´t WANT to know. It is their OPINION that this never happened.
