...the issues raised in these cases offer the best news in a long time...it's also a potential disaster if the neo-cons, including Obama, win...but, there's a good chance that enough adults will be forced to take a hand.

Gay Marriage is a champion of a civil rights case AND a challenge to religious bigotry and the effort to make us all bow down to their foolishness...if the Constitution is to mean anything Gay people MUST be allowed to marry...regardless of what anyone's god has to say about it...we do not have Sharia law in America, yet.

Gay Mariage is the proverbial canary-in-the-mine....if Gay Marriage is outlawed, the canary has dropped ead and the rest of us and our rights will soon follow....if it is declared legal, then the Constitution wins a BIG one...and Jesus loses a BIG one.

Many media outlets who might dislike Assange for his views are nevertheless deeply concerned that the government NOT prosecute him, let alone convict him...not even Fox News wants to see the right of media to publish information THEY did not steal taken away...if the government wins this case will set a precedent which will eventually be used against all of them...and will hurt their bottom-line at the least....they may act like they want him muzzled, but they don't mean it...for purely selfish reasons.

But the government WILL punish him all it can, even if it knows they can't convict him...just to let others know what they expect even if they have the Constitutional right to publish.
