If there’s no God, or no absolute truth, then wouldn't there be no such thing as good or evil? If we abandon religion, then from where will we derive our morality? What compels us to do right? What makes us refrain from stealing and killing each other? And what motivates us to extend our help and support to each other? The underlying rationale behind all those crimes and genocides is the belief held by the perpetrators that there is no higher authority above their own.
