Police: Child Calls To Report Murder-Suicide POSTED: Sunday, March 22, 2009 UPDATED: 4:30 am EDT March 23, 2009 MIAMI -- Miami-Dade police said a man killed his wife before turning the gun on himself on Sunday morning. It happened at a home along the 6700 block of Southwest 16th Terrace in west Miami-Dade County. Officers said a child, who was not injured, called police from inside the home. The man was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition where he died Sunday night, police said. The shooting is the latest of several murder-suicide caese in South Florida within a month. Last week, Guillermo Lopez drove to a birthday celebration and killed his estranged wife along with three other people, police said.
