Dear All, I wrote this article for the "Assyrian Star" magazine, was published in Fall/2004 issue. Read the next 2 message below for parts /2/ & /3/.
It's about Why Assyrians are migrating from Assyria ? and how the kurdish intruders occupied our lands in 60s until now .. so we never forget

...the article itself is nonsense, of course. If the man could think sensibly he wouldn't have written it..in fact, after all these years we know that anyone who believes he is assyrian is silly...so what to expect from him or her?

...nothing worked for them in 2004, nothing worked in 1918, nothing worked in 1999 and nothing has worked since this last war against the people of Iraq. You could say however that the only thing they have succeeded in is getting their own people killed or driven out...the only real "action" these people have engaged in is to plead and beg and cheer on anyone, any Christian, who will attack their "dear" homeland...in this they have been highly successful. In fact you could say that has been the ONLY result of all their "action" i.e. to render life impossible for the Christians in Iraq.

You'd almost think this had been their goal all along.

It's not enough to wish and have faith...you have to have a plan of action, a reasonable one with steps which can be achieved one by one as you climb to your goal...and of course your goal has to also be attainable....absent all of that you're just dreaming and whistling down the wind.

For example, we had a goal...to expose assyrian bullshit by direct confrontation plus actual source material...it was a goal that could be achieved, not some wild pie-in-the-sky fantasy. Of course achieving it could have been made terrifically difficult if we'd had anyone able or willing to confront us, on the facts, and not just call our mothers whores and our fathers pimps, which has been the only real "tactic" assyrians have employed against us, when they came out of hiding at all to begin with.

We marshalled our forces, did the reading and research and crafted the arguments to make the case, convincingly, that these assyrians are nothing more than a Christian sect seeking some political advantage by presenting themselves as a "nation" and "ethnic" group deserving their own Christian enclave...in the midst of Muslim nations no less.

Our goal was attainable...their goal of convincing the world that they are the children of Ashurbanipal and deserve Iraq has not been attained and never will be...you know that because they still have no actual method or plan as to how to achieve their goal...they aren't going anywhere to fight anyone...plus which they are mostly illiterate and undereducated, in any language...

That's the difference between knowing who you are and knowing what is what and pretending to be something you aren't and having no solid base from which to build.
