Iraq's loss is New York's gain. Just wish they had referred to him as an "Assyrian" not "Christian." Hope he will use his tenure there well. Best of luck to him.

..that's because the entire world understands that there are no Assyrians left anywhere in the world...only you people seem to think you're fooling anyone. They called him a Christian because that's what he IS! He's a Christian Iraqi who will now be one more Christian American...had he been forced out of Iraq by Saddam you'd all be crying martyr at us...but since Bush drove him out you make it seem like Dr George went looking for a better job...Iraqi Christians have tried valiantly to remain while you have labored just as valiantly to get them killed for staying....because they are "traitors" by working for their country...now that he'll work for America you'll hail him as a hero.

..Let;s have an exchange program...send Joseph Danavi to Baghdad in return.
