..Ron, could that be you? Even I didn't get arrested at conventions!

..the crowd must have gathered at three A.M. to discuss the Assyrian Parliament...or how they should "fight" for Assyria...or maybe how great they are...or Christian. I can just hear them now..."we can talk when we want to, this is free country"...except you can't.

..A hotel is private property...they can ask you to leave at any time...they can tell you to leave the coffee shop, or the restaurant, and they can tell you to clear the halls and return to your room...doesn't matter that you paid for it through the nose, or at a discount....read the fine print on your registration form and you'll see.

...undoubtedly hotel security asked them, nicely, to clear the space and no doubt the warriors refused....so the cops were called. No different than if you are at a person's house and begin to misbehave and refuse to leave...if you persist when the cops come you can be arrested for trespassing, even is you think you have a RIGHT to talk about Assyria.....these are the same people who have no idea of what sedition is...what it means and why it's illegal and punishable in any country on earth...and that when they "talk about their rights in Iraq and how the government stole them from us, the rightful oweners", they are committing a CRIME...for which they wil be PROSECUTED...not, as they imagine, "persecuted"..which sounds a lot sexier and can get you pity...

...I wonder, when Dr Ron appears in court, he'll say he is being PERSECUTED for BEING ASSYRIAN!!!

...I always thought he was smarter than that...and maybe we don't have all the details...maybe he was four sheets to the wind and feeling his oats...who knows for sure.
