I met a guy in Berkeley a few weeks ago who's part of the growing movements in the Bay Area and elsewhere where collectives grow healthy, organic foods locally in community farms in urban areas such as Oakland, San Francisco and Berkeley modeled after what the Cubans started in the '90s when they where met with the crisis of drastic oil reduction... something we're to face quite soon.
