Einstein supposedly said that to do the same thing over and over but expect different results is a sign of insanity. Recent polls show that 63% of registered voters support Obama's air-war against ISIS (other wise known as "whatever")....another poll shows 68% of the same people don't believe it will succeed....hello madness. The latest Euro to lose his head over there is billed as an "aid worker"...we're assured that he loved the Syrian people and just had to help them in their travails. I like to think in "equivalents"...that keeps me from losing my head finding similarities between things I'm supposed to think are no way similar, like Muslim "brutality"....how different is that than Christian brutality...is there really any difference? So they behead people...so what? There is a war on...people kill people in wars...we killed over 700,000 innocent children in our war...are Muslims really any worse than the Christians who do these things....really? Going to a war zone to "help" people is absurd.....what if some well-meaning Germans went into Poland to "help" the people...would the people forget that these Germans were part of the same country ravaging their lands and killing their people? Germany comes to Poland and wounds people, so other Germans follow and try to help the wounded...this is laudable?...or opportunistic? If you tell me Muslims are terrible people because they behead their enemies, I'll point out that among all advanced nations Americans are the only ones who inject poisons into the veins of THEIR criminals, or gas them, or shoot electricity into their bodies...or hang them....or shoot them. --------------------- |
