..that all the noise and blather they´ve spewed for these last few decades is proof that their brand of Christianity is on the rise...they point to their mega-Churches as further proof...well, the majority of the people at those churches are repeat offenders...they love to be scolded and forgiven...it´s like going to the movies for them...those aren´t new converts each time but the same folk over and over...

Also the frantic religiosity is actual proof that Christianity is losing ground, not gaining it...people are converting from normal Christianity to the born-again, know-nothing and proud-to-be-stupid-cause-it-prooves-how-right-we-are type. These aren´t new acolytes but tired and grumpy people who´re switching from their old brand to a new one...one which promises them something NEW and IMPROVED, like the toothpaste ads they fall for...it´s a sign of a crumbling of faith, not an affirmation of it...they are trying to force-feed themselves, and most important, everyone around them...because they scarely believe their own crap, but when the rest of us pass, they get especially frantic, because our lack of faith highlights their own lack, and they get really mad...because it´s OUR fault that they have doubts....hence their un-Christian anger at everyone who simply says "no thank you".
