Rashad, my mother used to (and still does) randomly open up her book of Haafez and read a poem. I do that with my poetry books, also. Last night, I opened this book called "Black Fire" and I thought you'd enjoy this, since you and I and many others know brothers and sisters (despite of race or religion) like this:

BROTHER by James Danner

You tell me they only do to us
What we do to them
If we were on top. You are the
Product of their bad fantasy.
You are the nigger legisltor
Who is drunk and deflowers white
Womanhood. Look at yourself,
With your little moustache and greased hair
And looking more like a Spaniard every day,
You fear the nigger
In you, and most of all
You fear we are all niggers like you
And you don't want to give a nigger
A chance. You are a nigger's nigger:
A white man in the head.

(I typed this the way it was written in poetic stanza, but it ain't gonna come out that way.)
