Fortunately for the world there will never be an “Assyria”…but if there was, “Getting it all Wrong” would look about right on its flag.

I stumbled across this simple line in a book:

“…The First Amendment (Freedom of Speech) was not designed to protect popular opinions because popular opinions don’t need protecting. It’s the hard cases where you have to hold to the principle.”

Sometimes I think our people believe Freedom of Speech means their freedom to ban speech they don’t like…the freedom to deny freedom. This is something new to them, a sort of power that goes to their heads since they’ve never had power anywhere on earth and haven’t much in their heads, they take to it like fascists to water. It’s a child’s act of closing his eyes and thinking whatever scared him is gone…banned.

You have to kind of wonder if all so-called Assyrians are as stupid as the ones who brag about their ancestry the most. Surely there are brighter bulbs out there who understand better things? Let’s hope so and also hope that they’re merely in hiding because they know what kind of personal abuse they’ll suffer for simply speaking their minds freely.

This group of functional illiterates who understand nothing and learn nothing and do nothing but beg and whine are a disgrace to the memory of the ancient Assyrians. They make good pets though.
