It’s lost on people that Hitler began his career by killing his own German people first...before he turned his guns on the Czechs...or Poles and then everybody else. The Jews of Germany were Germans...they just happened to not be Catholics, Lutherans, Presbyterians, Baptists etc. They were German citizens of another faith. Also the German homosexuals, German intellectuals, crippled Germans, infirm Germans, insane Germans... were all Germans and were all marked for death by a fellow-German, Hitler..

He, and his supporters, determined they were all “degenerates” and deserved murder. It was open to opinion...turned out that the Allies had a different notion of which Germans were degenerates and, taking their cue from Hitler, set about murdering them.

It’s all in the definition, I guess...but one thing is certain; Hitler led the way and established the precedent and vogue for killing innocent German men, women and children. You can take your pick of which Germans YOU thought deserved killing...but Hitler set the tone and pointed the way...he first told us that Germans, take your choice of which, deserved killing...no matter how innocent they were of any criminality.

Did he know something the rest of us didn’t...and had to learn from him...the hard way?

It turned out that the category of German the rest of the world considered degenerate and worthy of being murdered and which was definitely NOT innocent by then but most guilty of crimes against everybody’s humanity and world peace was not Jew or insane, or queer...these were incidentals....the German who most deserved killing as an arch criminal.....was the Christian.

Odd.
