...someone over there asked where all the discourse has gone to...why their forum is filled with witless jokes and not much else.....Maggie replies that Assyrians feel betrayed by their leaders and have lost the faith...ergo the jokes.

...one fellow then comes on to politely and nervously, disagree...and in the process says this:

With due all respect, I disagree with your statement.

I am offering my point of view (even if it is banned or it is of no value as far as you concern) in hope that this forum (and especially you) could have an alternative view of what went wrong, if you really wish to review how the forum has travelled in the past few years.

Everyone came into this forum in hope of having a free voice and in hope of reaching to a collective and constructive approach towards our common interest, ASSYRIA. What many instead receive, was feeling as they were bullied, unheard, unimportant, and some even felt as they carry a stigma for no reason but their faith or political conviction.

Here are some of the reasons:

1. Constant negative campaign from you and Ashur Gewargis against everyone and everything (all political parties are useless and sold-outs), something very obscured as far as logics go. This is all done by you when nothing is offered instead, no real solution, no objectives, and no constructive framework. It is just constant negativity. The slightest merit, if any, will lose its credibility and thus makes people detest the forum.

2. Your despise towards all religious sects (but one); your constant and total disrespect towards some religious leaders, your foul language towards all political leaders (or whomever that you disagree with). This is despite the fact that the rules of conducts of your forum (written by you, perhaps) states that such language and behaviour is not permitted, yet you do it (using offensive language) yourself, all the time.

3. Whomever disagrees with you is offered either your so-called rope, or is bullied to the point that they prefer to leave the forum. People are called by names and are accused of being this and that only because they disagreed with your views and dared to put it to you.

4. preferential treatment (or preferential abusive & bullying) that some people get from Moderator 1 (YOU) and then the moderator #3, SOS. SOS's vendetta against some posters intentionally went unheard and unnoticed by you, despite many complaints (I know because I and many others have made complaints about him). You just allowed him to destroy this forum single handedly; and then "he left" without offering any explanation as why.

You perhaps won't agree with my views but at least they are there in case if you try to them a chance to be reviewed (By you) in an open manner.

The good friends are not necessary those who tap on your shoulder all the time and telling you that things are fantastic. Real friends tell it as it is.
