Bet-Shlimon is hung up on words...and ignores deeds. Muhammad's sayings were for a specific time and place...he was NOT a God, but a man with a message, a message which improved the lives of his people and helped civilization along....spreading wealth and wisdom and culture over Europe and even the New World...clearly all Muslims, even in his day, did not kill and kill and kill,,, Bet-Shlimon has underlined the words of Muhammad as well as those of Jesus...except Christians don't DO as Jesus told them to do...so, it seems both Muslims and Christians aren't doing as their prophets said...but the result is that we're spared Muslim violence...while, sadly, we're being inundated with Christian violence...each isn't listening to the "message", but Islam isn't bringing death and destruction to the world, as a result of not listening...while Christianity, by also not listening, is. Perhaps Christians can blame Islam, the religion, for its "violent message"...but who can fault Muslims for being as tolerant as they have been in the face of the provocations and abuse they've been suffering? And maybe we can't praise Christianity, the religion, for its "message of love"...but we sure as hell can blame Christians for what they're doing behind the cover of their "loving" religion. --------------------- |
