...I want to create jobs....but if consumers aren't paid more than starvation wages...who the hell is going to afford the product the people in my jobs make? And if they can't afford to buy whatever I make, how am I going to keep people in my jobs?

Neither party is discussing the real issue...which is that there are limits to a consumer society driven by greed and profit. You make your profit by driving down wages, in part, and pretty soon everyone is out of a job...big fucking mystery.

End of story.
