...was the religion of the people who brought us two world wars, the Napoleonic wars, the thirty years war (in which i/3 of the population of Europe was killed) the religious wars the Seven Years war, Korea and Vietnam and Iraq and the Holocaust, I could understand Sam Harris being worried about the prospects of Islam killing us all.....not even the supposed animosity between Sunni and Shia compares even slightly to the murderous relationship of Catholic and Protestant.....Islam isn't the religion to fear and worry about....Christianity is! But, Sam Harris grew up in Christian countries and though he laughs at Christianity still he is too much IN Christian society to see where the real criminals are...a Martian hovering over the earth would have no trouble seeing the truth.
