The west bank is not internationally recognized as part of Israel. Check ANY map. On the other hand, the international community recognizes the USA as the government which governs, say, Florida, as well as the Native Americans who live in Florida. The international community knows that the US was founded on land previously owned by the Native Americans, but they accept this. Check any map and it says USA, but check any map and the West Bank is listed as "occupied territories" or something to that effect.
