...I might as well come out and say it: I find it highly convenient that Iran has another American hostage...and that this is making the news as the Repubs want to slam Obama for his foreign policies....reminds me of Carter and the first wave of American hostages...and how weak Carter could do nothing but strong Regan got them released...the DAY after his inauguration....great timing.

...this hostage is an FBI agent...his wife is an FBI agent and for all we know their seven kids are all agents too. In the video, released a year ago and only now by his FBI family, the fellow looks thin, says he's being well cared for and that his diabetes medicine is running out...so could Obama please do something.

..and the guy was captured on a small island off the coast of Iran while investigating CIGARETTE SMUGGLING!!!??? At least they didn;t say he was snorkeling for abalone when captured. No...he was out to protect someone from smuggles smokes!

...is this another set-up? We don't even know where he is being held...in Iran...in Virginia.....? We don't know who is holding him...Iranians....Italians...? Why now? Watch the Repubs and you'll know.

Anyone who suggested Reagan and others conspired all along over the American hostages and that their release was orchestrated in order to boost Reagan and slam Dems was called, of course, a crazy theorist.

And then we have this captured drone. Not to take anything away from the Iranians...no doubt they could take over the controls and land this thing...but did they? And does it really have sensitive technology on it, or was it sent there, to land safely, with nothing much on it...or erroneous info? Or maybe to scare Americans some more over those dastardly Iranians and how they threaten US!..when we're the ones conducting an illegal war on their borders for decades.
