...headlines mention war with Iran or from Iran more and more...sort of testing the waters to see if we`re ready for more blood and enemies-to-go.

One difference will be that as there is no Nineveh Plain in Iran and no chance to claim "our" national rights there, and also because Iranians are more civilized in general, you won`t hear Persian Assyrians clamoring for a war as a way to "get" the Christians there anything but dead.
