The name "Iraq" is also believed to be from the ancient Mesopomian "Uruk" and it is also commonly suggested that it may be from the Aramaic language meaning "the land along the banks of the rivers". It is disputed but the two are commonly suggested. God bless Iraq and may there be peace, Inshallah. --------------------- |
