...that Hamas recognize the legitimacy of Israel and renounce violence. Excuse me? Why doesn't Israel have to recognize a Palestinian state and renounce violence as well?

We all know that Israel will not allow Palestinians to renounce violence...we know Israeli hawks have remained in power and gotten stinking rich because of the self-defensive measures Palestinians are forced to take...the last thing Israeli fat cats want is a peaceful Palestine/Israel.

Also the US and Israel demand that Hamas not unite with the Palestinian Authority...they say of course it's because Hamas is a "terrorist" organization...in reality it's because divide and rule is still the best imperial policy.

At least less and less people around the world are buying this bullshit.
