Just to add to this fantastic article, there has not been a single inscription found that links the kingdom of Arameans with the word Surai, Surayeh, Syria, Syrian. These words have always meant Assyria/Assyrians. Whereas the modern country of Syria was always referred to by Egyptian, Hebrew and Assyrian inscriptions as the Kindgdom of Aram and its inhabitants as Arameans. As Zach Cheery pointed out in his fabulous lecture, the word for Assyrians and their land was first Surayu, then it became Asurayu, then Ashurayu as the Akkadian dialect changed. Even during the second Iron Age, the word Suraya meant Assyrian.

...this is more of the same...these people read little, understand less and spend their time spinning wool to "prove" their point of view...eveything she states has been built on the errors of our own "experts"...all of it.

..There's a good reason we've produced so few in the Arts and Humanities...and none at all in history, besides Dr Joseph...the stuff our heads get filled with renders us unable to study history as anything more than a place you pull out what you need, no matter how you distort it...you can see here that when faced with a challenge...all Magpie can manage is to state her own claims...as if they meant anything. That's what they all do...tell us what THEY "know"...and cuss us out and the real sources we bring to show them differently...wullah we glorify ignorance and place stupidity on a throne....look at us.
