...he said when someone shoots up a Gay nightclub we don;t need to ask IF religion was involved just WHICH religion..and the answer is: Islam...of course....to its credit the audience groaned when he said that...then he said, "I'm sorry folks, but it's just true"...which sounds a lot like a religious "explanation" for why Jesus walked on water...in other words, pure bullshit you have to take on faith.

How about the next time a drone attack kills children we say..."No need to ask if religion was involved but just WHICH religion" is doing the bombing...and the wars, and the occupations, and Vietnam, and Korea..and the Death Squads...which religion has killed more people in the last 200 years, Islam or Christianity?

I mean, comparative body-counts DO exist...history books DO exist...this information can be found.

That is an easy answer to RESEARCH..to find EVIDENCE about and not just spout faith-based "beliefs" as Maher does without a shred of historical evidence to back him up.

What he's really saying is "SHIT...these people might get ME."...even if he was "against" the Iraq war...still, since then he's been spouting all the lies Bush and Cheney used.

And if it is the reponsibillity of moderate Muslims to DO something about the fundamentalist, what are moderate Christians "doing about" all the wars and killings and injustices which fundamentalist government officials have been doing around the world, like Clinton and Bush and Trump...are their crimes YOUR responsibility too..and if so, what are YOU doing about it?
