...gives you cold sweats watching the thousands "paying respects" at the funeral of the murdered NYC cop.....who else who dies in the line of their work gets this kind of star treatment? Why the police? What makes them special? because they risk their lives "for us"? They don't risk their lives for us, they risk their lives for their paychecks....cut their pay and you'll see how much they "risk" for us.

..I think Americans are scared to death...they don't know what else to do except hope brute force will make them safe...that's all they have left. No confidence in government, or in themselves to fix anything...they are encouraged to pray to jesus instead while their voting rights are curtailed and they lose interest....the police, and the military, have become their heroes...their salvation...and it's a scary trend because they're going to want more and more police "protection"...and of course the ills in society are only going to get worse, you can count on it..and so more and more police power will be needed and SOUGHT. Modern Fascism DEPENDS on people loving and needing and WANTING Fascism...it won't work otherwise.

You can already hear the Think Tanks "thinking"....one newsperson said that of course the man who shot the two cops was "deranged"...BUT, "he was encouraged (or deranged) by the demonstrations"....it won't be long before public protests will be handled like insurrections, as they almost were in Ferguson...but that was nothing, a mere hint of things to come.....it may even be that demonstrations will be made illegal because they "encourage acts of terror".
