...you could assyrians all the rights they could handle in Iraq and they would still be unsatisfied....at least the ones outside of Iraq would be...it isn't "rights" they want but the LAND....with oil under it of course.

That's the reason few to no Iraqi Christians ever called for their own land...except for a small bunch of pseudo-communists who then used their "assyrian" identity to cry they were being persecuted for their ETHNICITY when it was their political posturing and USE of their so-called ethnicity and religion as well that got hem into trouble..but the vast majority of Iraqi Christians were doing just fine in Iraq...and all of them would LOVE to move the clock back to 1979.....except of course for the assyrians living in Chicago who were looking for "golden opportunities" from the destruction of Iraq, like maybe then they could steal a piece...but they forgot about the Qurds.
