....it's about time someone told the truth about Obama. I pray he goes down in flames...McCain wins and the United States digs itself into a deeper hole..if that's the only thing that will grab enough attention.

...the "vote" is an absolutely useless piece of window-dressing that's made much of every few years...it gives us shmucks the illusion that our opinions matter.. The whole thing is a farce and it's best to have that come out into the open.

...Obama is nothing but false hope....where there was never really any reason to have any. He just sounded good because some of us WANTED to hear something "good", for a change. But it never fails...these so-called liberals sooner or later reveal their true colors...like his democratic predecessors he too will shoot himself in the foot...he too will want to win so badly that he'll begin to be more and more neo-con, but "nice", thinking to clinch the deal by moving closer to the center, to woo away those "in the middle".

What he forgets, because it was never on his mind in the first place, is that he got where he is because the LEFT came out for him. The Rrepublicans got where they are by playing to the RIGHT, not the middle...the middle will stay IN THE MIDDLE....if both parties win the middle they go nowhere...they need the EXTREMES to win, not the middle. In the "middle", the democrats will always lose, because the middle has become a right-wing extreme for years past.

There are plenty of American voters who aren't radical leftists but who aren't stupid or amoral...they could give a shit for what "works" in Iraq...or against Iran, or FOR Israel....they're concerned with what's CORRECT...what's legal and moral and humane....and U.S. policy since Reagan and before has been abusive and illegal and better suited to war-crimes nations than the kind of country the LEFT wants.

Out of desperation they hoped Obama would be the one...but thankfully even before the convention he played his hand...now we know what we should have known all along...and he is going to LOSE and he deserves to lose....the worst thing that can happen to America is to NORMALIZE what Bush has done, what McCain wants to do more of and what Obama SEEMED to be against...the best thing is to let the neo-cons continue the nation down their path...let's see where this kind of thing goes...where it only can go. Let's not willingly blind ourselves.

Obama deserves to lose.....McCain will lose by winning anyway....did Bush "win"? Did America? Is America really safer? Are Americans better off or is Halliburton and companies?

No one is saying don't do anything...don't get involved in your country...but the vote is not the way...with these guys in power we can't even vote in the kinds of rules we need to get back the government from the corporations who own us....what's the point of voting for a punch in the face or a kick in the stomach? What kind of "choice" is that?

The vote meant something long ago, before corporations bought the vote...before they made it a matter of choosing what we get screwed by. The thing that's important is what matters to CORPORATIONS, not the Founding Fathers...and what matters to them are nickels and dimes...and dollar bills...like we have in our wallets no matter how poor we are....because their billions come a dollar at a time...you know, the bottom line?

They want our dollars more than they care for our votes...they got the votes locked in. IOf you're disillusioned, fine, stay home...they win. If you care, some vote, they win anyway because BOTH candidates are bought and sold....they HAVE to go along or they wouldn't get where they are asking for your vote....what they're fighting over is our dollars, the have our vote tucked away...vote for Tweedledee or Tweedledum and they win anyway...just like with Obama/McCain. And if by chance someone got in who would actually shift direction, they'd find a "lone gunman" to kill him.

But they're helpless against our dollar bills....if we don't give them our dollars they sweat...at least more than if we withold our votes....they can get their candidates into office if 99.9% of voters stay home...but if 5% of BUYERS don't give them their dollars...they panic.

We don't want to destroy them...we just need them out of government...out of legislative bodies and out of the media. The vote is never going to achieve that.
