Here is some more proof even though you should be quiet aware that the verse you tried to quote as your proof is not as you wish it to be. I will show you more proof. Here is the verse again and I will quote from Ibn Kathir's Tafseer(explainations of the Quranic verses). He is by far regarded as one of the best scholars of Islam and the tafseer is not his opinion but based on facts from the Sunnah of the prophet.

(You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma`ruf (all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah).

It is exactly as I have stated and the verse has nothing to do with nationalism but everything to do with "piety". The nation is the "Islamic nation" which enjoining the lawful and forbids the unlawful. Even our brother Pancho who is neither Christian or Muslim so he has nothing invested in this but he even could easily recognize that you were misusing a verse to your advantage and it was a poor attempt.

It is always laughable but at the same time very foolish to go to a book of over 6,300 verse and to take one verse out of it context in order to prove that the Quran preaches violence or as you have done by accusing it of "racism" when it was based on nothing more than a nation which lives by the law of our Creator.
