.....sigh. What do you do with such people? How can you keep them at home and keep them from embarrassing you in public? Before writing, or even reading, such a lengthy piece of nonsense you have to consider that these people don't know or care about the meaning of language...and yet they use and misuse it regularly. If they bothered to do a little research...say, into the actual meaning of the concept "Parliament in Exile", they would know that the term is reserved for those instances when a parliament, already existing in a country, is forced somehow to escape for safety's sake, and reconstitute itself in exile...the key is the parliament has to ALREADY EXIST, in-country.

...what these dweebs are proposing has nothing to do with "in exile"...they were never a legitimate Parliament anywhere!

...what they want to do is create a brand new "parliament" WHILE in exile and be recognized as legitimate, though no one IN the country heard of them or voted for any of them...and that just can't be done and would have no official basis to exist or be recognized by anyone who understands language and meaning and the use of dictionaries.

To our Assyrian community world wide :

We are currently in the process of establishing an Assyrian parliament in exile.

The action plan is to establish a sub committee in each European country and these will be joined as one united European committee. As well as this , there will be a committee from the united states, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

These globel Assyrian committees will form and conglomerate a united high committee , under title or name Assyrian high committee. This committee will be responsible for writing and establishing a Constitution for the Ashur ( Assyrian ) nation world wide. The Constitution will be submitted to the European union and united nation for acknowledgement and recognition.We are working more than two year, Since January 2014 the work start from north Iraq, Babylon Institute made good progress in spreading the word about the parliament some European consultant and international diplomatic they are working with Babylon Institute as supporter and to create a successful.We are achieve and success of the establishment Ashur ( Assyrian ) committee in UK with official letter satisfied from Assyria Society in London. We made a good progress at near future we will receive from seven European country their committees besides other.

Our demand from the Societies in Sweden is to nominate the people for each Society in Sweden around one to three people , and sum of these people will form a committee named ( Assyrian committee in Sweden ),with official letter describes the names,profession, tel, should be send to Babylon Institute, as we do in London. Hopefully the answers to be during two weeks from the date of arrival our letter.

Ideal Candidates to join the Sweden Assyrian Committee should:

-Have experience in relevant field include Law, politics, Diplomacy, etc.

-A keen interesting promoting the Ashur (Assyrian) Nation and raising our profile worldwide

- It is better to have certificate, or BS.c or any other high degree.

In Briefly:

- The parliament is the highest authority to our nation because based on international legitimacy and principle of law, besides the decision of the nation will be in the hand of parliament. - Parliament believes on the historical and legitimate name Ashur (Assyria) only, and - We strengthen it.

- The parliament will unite the Assyrian organizations, social, politic group, cultural Under one umbrella and one voice. We seeking for recognition from UN.

- We as a nation and indigenous people of Iraq, Syria, and south Turkey, claim and

- demand Ashur region in north Iraq as protected zone, as an initial step to establish a state of Assyria, not a new idea, the notion was put in 28-06-2006 by Babylon Institute delegation to Europäschen political kommission / Brüssel , and also in 17-18 Dec. 2006 at the Stockholm Assyrian conference .

- political vision adopted by the political group of our people in north Iraq since 2003 is not successful, it has caused the loss and disappearing of the historic homeland name Ashur Assyria , and changed to another ethnic name. And at the same time in Syria.
