Word has reached our organizations that Bennie Khamneeshan was arrested by Kurdish security forces for speeding. Martyr Khamneeshan was doing 120 kph in a parking lot and authorities claim he nearly ran over some of our enemies who've masscred us in the past (In this case it was four Kurdish schoolgirls...but they'll grow up on day and have children who will persecute us). Kurdish paramilitary units issued a citation to Khamneeshan and told him to appear in court, and drive more carefully. The Assyrian community must protest this latest example of what our people have endured for centuries under oppressive Muslim traffic laws...Mr Khamneeshan was listening to patriotic music and obviously got carried away with love of his nation...we must protest vigorously this denial of our national enthusiasm...and it only underlines the emergency we all face as long as we don't have our own country where we can be free of opressive speeding laws. --------------------- |
