...it's been a long, interesting struggle to get this monument built and then installed...quite a journey through Assyria in its Diapers.

...Sargon Dadeeshoo will shit bricks when he finds out that this monument will be installed on the campus of Cal State Stanislaus in Turlock, which is supposed to be his exclusive turf. The site has been chosen...the university is seeing to details at its end and we'll be doing our part to be ready for an unveiling this summer...at about this time Assyrians should begin crawling out from under rocks to try to stop this from going forward...it will be interesting to see what their tactics will be.

..of one thing we can be sure...those who trashed the Soccer Monument in Australia are the same Assyrians who stole the plaque from the Ashurbanipal Monument in San Francisco (it is being replaced as I write)and also the same ones who will deface the yet-to-be-installed Shumirum Monument...we know who they are: they are the Assyrian nationalists who have a deep commitment to mediocrity...who insist that being a "proud" Assyrian MUST remain easy and empty enough to allow them a chance...those for whom any one of us trying to lift the bar and raise the standard are "enemies", or "enemas" as Fred Aprim called me in a happy moment, not to mention "traitors" and, oh yes, "haters of Jesus".
