...I swear, It's like playing office when you were kids....this "we are a nation of Assyrians" makes people stupid. Or maybe you have to be stupid to play it. Where did these people come up with these ideas of how you "build a nation"? Is it because they're not in the world...I mean as anything besides secretaries, taxi and truck drivers and the odd doctor here and there, that they feel confident in describing how you get a country, or a nation...or run a government? They can't run a picnic, or dance party, they can't tolerate dissent or anything close to the kinds of skills it takes to deal in such isses, and yet they feel fully confident that it doesan't matter, that their "faith" or their "dedication" will somehow do the job. Sigh. The Formation of the Assyrian Nation Posted By: Maggie Yonan Date: Saturday, 9 February 2008, at 12:19 p.m. The Formation of the Assyrian Nation Assyria has all the elements to form a nation from those living in the homeland to those living outside of it. ..it has none of them, in reality...not a one of them, except a small population so divided against itself that the first piece of official business would be a civil war, with a religious war close behind. But we need organization. We need dedicated people who are willing to come together and can organize themselves effectively. ...you a have lots of "needs"...but being "needy" is not the same as having the means to fill those needs. We already have a Save Assyria Front ..actually that's the perfect word to describe the whole thing..."Front". It's all about fronts, appearances, letters, empty titles, clubs with a "membership" of three men and a dog. We have several groups affiliated with this front, both in the homeland and outside of it. ...what you have is an immense ability to lie, to fabricate, to make grandiose statements and claims about what you "have". What you have are wishes...and needs. And since you have those, you fabricate what you think will satisfy. You don't have "several" anythings, except a whole lot of nuttin. We have people everywhere waiting to be called on, ...sure you do. You have, at most, thrity people reading with about five writing...but then again, givne your typical misuse and ignorance of the language, I guess that can pass for "several". Hell, why not? to do whatever they can ..."whatever" people can do, does no good when you need a surgeon, or a carpenter. If you don't weant death to be the result or a collapsed roof on top of you, you need people SKILLED at specific tasks...not just people who can do "whatever"...and those, you sorely lack. For instance, you have "historians" ready to do whatever they can...to write whatever they can, to make whatever claims they can...but you haven't a single historians who actually IS a historian...see what I mean? Except for Dr Joseph and he's no good to you at all. We have talented people who can raise funds at the drop of a hat. ...they may raise hats, but not much to fill them with. No one has been able to raise serious money for your projects...they never have and they never will...for the simple reason that the simpletons you appeal to are broke...or saving and dreaming of their first Rolex...this is the simple, unvarnished truth...so naturally and in order to "move foreward", you simply ignore it and manufacture a more pleasing lie. Narsai has been the biggest fundraiser who's actually SENT the money raised to Iraq...Dadeeshoo has raised money for himself and family....out of an annual take of 1.5 million he's spent $30,000 on "charity". I manged to get a little over a million dollars from Assyrians...but that's because I gave them somehting of value in return...the idea that people are going to give money to make an "Assyria" is absurd...no one will throw their money away and you know it. Here’s my suggestion: -SOS and Ashur Giwargis to map- out our strategy ...don't forget cookies and milk for when they get hungry. -Dilmen Lazar to layout the winning moves ...sure thing. As soon as he figures out what that means. -Gaby Kiwarkis to be our general in charge of forming a military regiment, ...right on! I can imagine boot camp already. according to the moves layed out by Dilmen. I will be the first to sign-up as a foot soldier, ...with both feet. and can work on recruiting all Assyrian gang-bangers from the American urban ghettos, and Gaby can work on recruiting all the Australian ones. ...is this supposed to be serious? "Gang-bangers" from the ghettoes? You're still living your glory days in college when you were thirlled to be the girl-toy of Black activists. -I can organize all those talented fund-raisers to create a budget for travel expenses, uniforms, training camps, equipment, etc. ...no you can't. You run a one-person office. You're an accountant with absolutely no advanced skills in anything save bullshit, but NATIONAL bullshit. -Hire Assyrian arms-dealers who are selling weapons in north Iraq, and they can sell us some of those weapons at a discounted rate. ...I LOVE that! At a "discounted rate"! Just like we do to ALL the Assyrians we have who are in business, almost all of whom have sworn to NEVER do "business" with another Assyrian because they all expect "deals"...and no one is making enough money to give "deals"! -Hire a non-Assyrian professional group who is experienced to form the Assyrian Parliament, recruiting qualified Assyrians from all Assyrian constituencies around the world. ...that's too funny. Admitting eith there, up-front, that while Assyrian make a country and a military and a aprliament, they must hire a NON-Assyrian to set it all up for them. Who's going to hold their hand after that? -A taxation committee to tax each Assyrian household $10.00 per month ...sure...nice try....that should go over great. With these simple steps we will have: ...another joke...another "failure", which never had any chance of success, as all the rest, which you well know ahead of time but, as always, which will make it LOOK like you "tried"! You people never think or care about actually getting something done...to all you "activists" NEEDING and WANTING and TALKING becomes DOING. -An Assyrian front ..but, you already have that. -On-going fundraisers/Taxation committee ...you KNOW that's a joke. -A structured Assyrian government ..you can't structure a picnic...you can't even manage a forum. -Assyrian military forces ...another joke. See what I mean...where is the PRIDE in making such assinine comments? What more does a nation need to do what is needed for Assyria? ...get its head examined. Also its jeans. If these elements are in place, there’s no turning back but only one-way ticket to Assyria. ...your one-way ticket is to the Looney Bin...check the stub again. How about it? ...how about what? Signing on to your ridiculous "nation"? Who does the "insulting"...me or you? I know, I know, you’d rather have a beer! Well, Gaby, I tried! ...and can now rest on your accomplishments for Assyria. --------------------- |
