I just want to add that since I live near Javan, their kabob-e-barg (kebob et fillet) is rather good; but the ground beef koobideh, is best at Sholeh (flame) on Westwood Blvd. http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/5/1488330/restaurant/Westwood/Sholeh-LA There's another Sholeh exaclty one block east of Javan on Santa Monica Blvd: http://us.justdial.com/CA/Los_Angeles/Sholeh_Restaurant/Purdue_Ave,Santa_Monica_Blvd Personally, my favorite is Raffi in Glendale; especially since there are so many Armenian bakeries near by.
