...finally...someone is clear sighted enough to say none of this comes under "mistakes were made"...BILLIONS and maybe trillions were made, or soon will be...THAT was the point....there are less and less legitimate ways to make a lot of money...as witness all the market and real estate manipulation in the recent past...so what if a few pay millions in fines? Peanuts compared to what they get away with...just the cost of doing this kind of business. Who is going to set up a factory for making yet another kind of washing machine...or drill....or toilet? Where's the money in that?

But Terror? Islamists? Big big bucks...and THAT'S what this all has been about...including our fear of Communism...a system that couldn't make enough butter was going to "get us"?
