I read a comment by an American Jew regarding the Shoah (The Holocaust) that "There's no business like Shoah business". This is what Finkelstein was kicking and screaming about. He could not sit by and let a gang of hustlers who personally didn't suffer as his parents did in the Warsaw Ghetto or the concentration camps to make millions if not billions of dollars off the suffering of survivors while promoting the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians AND using the Shoah as a means to shut down any means of dissent or criticism against these policies. Last week, for instance, I read that at "Free Speech" UC Berkeley students are prohibited from speaking out against Israel and its policies because it's anti-Semitic. So much for Mario Savio and the battles for free political speech at Berkeley. At fuckin' Berkeley!!
