Their reasoning, a poor choice...rather their training, tells them that to be an Iraqi Muslim means you came from Arabia with the Arab invaders in 638 A.D. They say this to imply that no former "Assyrian" would ever have converted to Islam...that all of them converted to Christianity. Next they say that since Islam was born in Arabia, any Muslim has to be an Arab....forgetting the Mongolians, Malaysians etc. And, as an Arab, can't possibly be an ancestor of the indigenous Assyrians....all of them Christians. But, since Christianity isn't indigenous to Iraq either but came by way of Israel...you could just as easily, and using the screwy logic they just handed you, say that all Christians in Iraq are really Israelis and should go back to where they came from; Israel. And it would follow that Canada, France and England are all filled with Israelis, whose religion "prooves" they all emigrated from Israel...pretty dumb, no? There's a double curse laid on these people...they are both naturally stupid and wilfully so. A double-threat. --------------------- |
