..that's true...I mean about the total lack of interest in what is, after all, a quite amazing thing, if it was true...meaning that National Geographic and any number of PBS stations and Natural History and archaeological magazines would have done multiple documentaries on the amazing fact that "direct descendants" of the ancient Assyrians live and walk among us...but nothing. And if anyone was ever approached by us to do such a thing, it would only take a ten minute discussion and a little research...not to mention seeking out the few ACTUAL historians who are recognized in the field of MODERN "Assyrian" claims..such as Dr Joseph, to quickly realize they are dealing with cranks and functional illiterates.

Also...your point about what the national objective REALLY is raises real doubts as to the gap betwen what they SAY they want and what they ACTUALLY achieve....if you came from outer space or hovered above the earth and saw humans for what they actualy are you'd conclude that the goal of the nationalists is to get as many Christians killed, chased out or dispossesed by Muslims...to add to that martyr's list they cherish so much...the LAST thing you'd conclude is that they had some sort of serious or realistic plan to GET anything meaningful or tangible.

No one would have a basis to complain or malign Assyrians if they TOOK land and managed to hold onto it thereby following in the footsetps of America, Britain, France, Spain, Germany, Kurdistan, Israel and every other modern nation which was also created through FORCE and the abuse of indigenous populations...but BEG for it? Try to get other nations to FORCE Iraq??? That's not only absurd but counterproductive UNLESS your real goal is to ruin as many Christians as you can...choosing Muslims as your preferred vehicle and means so you can then "show the world" that Islam is the "devil's religion" etc.

It's nothjing more than that old-time bigotry and hatred Christians indulge in when faced with other religions...they felt this hatred for Jews, and still do...and they're now putting their hatred of Islam into practice...only a few short decades from their last Holocaust...during which they also convinced themselves that Jews were DANGEROUS and must be EXTERMINATED..it's them, folks...Nazis all over again.
