They won't call their own terrorists because those are their sons even when they murder their own. It's only tragic to them that it happened to their own. It wouldn't be so bad if this happened in Iraq. I heard someone say these "nut guys" should join the military and go to Iraq. There they can shoot all they want. In other words, do it over there, not here. It's bad when you have a population this ignorant which in unhealthy and then packs guns. Banning guns wouldn't solve this problem entirely because it goes back to the culture in this country and the lack of education and the mental health. How many children were murdered in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan or Yemen and Americans don't care nor shed tears. If they had any compassion and decency, their hearts would bleed and go out to all those. One lady went off at me when I reminded the folks that while Obama cries now, he will kill many more children in Pakistan and Afghanistan with drones. She called it "bs" and said how now is not the time for this. In other words, those children should never be mentioned or compared to "our" own. How dare I say something like that as an American? But what of I find both cases tragic and why aren't over a million Iraqi children comparable to 20 American ones? Would this even be tragic if it were black children? I'm sure there be a different reaction if it were someone with a Muslim name. They were quick to call for extra sexurity at airports because of Muslims and to racially profile Muslims in name of security. They wanted to have separate lines just for Muslims but they don't have a problem with guns nor do they wanna make it tougher to get them.
