You reminded me of what happened to me as a teenager in Germany. I was getting on a bus with my youngest brothers(4 years old at the time) and I found an empty seat to sit down on. An elderly German man came out of no where and began shouting at me and making racist comments against foreigners. He assumed I was Turkish since that is the leading minority in Germany. He was saying things like "you fucking Turks and damn foreigners come here take over our country and steal our seats too". Everyone was just silent and listening to him go at it for a monent, and then a young German woman stood up and told him to "shut the hell up, shame on you and everyone sitting here listening to you, why are you attacking these kids who done nothing to you?". He began cursing at her and sure enough he called her a "Turkish loving whore" and "why don't you marry one and see what you'll get out of it". She basically became a "Turkish lover" because she stood up to what was obviously wrong, but to a racist there is nothing wrong with that. Just as a redneck in Alabama would call the Whites who protested against the injustice against Black people, "nigger lover" and they almost all sound the same. All racists make the same comments and say "everyone knows what you people are". Exactly the same thing a bigoted Christian will say about Muslims or Jews. "Everyone knows they are evil" and a racist has justification for his/her comments because in their minds the person is already the "bad guy" and anyone who stands up and defends the victim is a "nigger lover" "Muslim" and whatever else the racist and bigot has hatred for.

So you would naturally be seen as a "traitor" because you stand up for what is obviously wrong, and even though you will say a hundred times that you are not Christian, Jews or Muslim, you will always be a "Muslim lover" or a "Muslim" to them. I was called all kinds of names too when I use to talk about the crusades, persecuted Jews or even defend the Palestinians. I was not even any where near being a Muslim, but I was called that because I would point out their bigotry and injustice. It's not that they care about Jews but it is a mere fact that the majority of Palestians are Muslims and they are happy that Muslims are being killed, and they would be equally happy if Jews were killed but Muslims most definitely. They were celebrating and rejoicing the same way when the Albanians and Bosnians were being killed and persecuted. Even though the Bosnaks and Albanians had done nothing to these bigots o Iraq and Syria, it was still a good thing and justiied because it was Muslims that where being killed. Not that they have been wronged by Muslims but this is what they inherited since childhood from home and only a very few will ever be fortunate enough to become free of this. Even when we are free from this type of hatred, bigotry and prejudices, we will still be attackd, called names, and have even our families insulted and brought into it.

I still have to go through hell even though I live over a thousand miles away from their nearest community, but they still won't leave you alone. They tell you that you are "dead to them" but they still attackin. If I were a female of course they would try to physically get rid of me "honor killing" but with a male it's not so easy. I had one of them assholes sent me an email in which he said he would gladly join the military for even a dollar just kill Muslims. I offered him 5 dollars if he came to kill me but of course it's all words behind the internet or from a distance. Nevertheless, this is their mentality and there are only very few who ever manage to over come this inherited sickness of the mind and heart. I didn't even know the people that were jumping out the wondows of the twin towers, and I could not help but to feel pain and be affected by what I was witnessing. To a sane human being, religion or race should not even be a factor or even come to mind when we see an atrocity, tragedy or injustice, but to these people religion is what comes to mind.

If a Pakistani is killed in a car crash, "one Muslim less" they say, and the same for anyone else whether Turkish, Arab, Kurdish, Somali or anyone else who is normally viewed as Muslim. They don't look at people as humans but as Muslims first, and for almost 2,000 years they (Christians)have been committing crimes, genocides, wars and other atrocities while hiding behind their man-god, Christ.
