Hi, excuse me I think my message was a little bit hard. I have cooled now :) In fact the death place of Agha Petro was only an incorrection among others, and I pick it up to make it short. I'm only twenty-four, and my own father wasn't born when Petros Elia died. I'm very keen on History (and I put places before dates), especially as far as Assyrians are concerned, and I know sometimes several versions can be thought to be true. You were the one talking of Mathematics, so you must know what undecidability means in logic... The fact is I read, heard and above all wondered a lot about Petros. Amidst lies and ignorance, there is very little place for truth seekers to know about the man. You seem to have direct knowledge and that's great. So you can't ignore Petros lived for years in Saint-Jory, near Toulouse - but far from Paris - both in France :). The fact is I had the chance to get there and was introduced to people and thus had direct knowledge too. People there do remember Agha Petros, told me a lot of his doing and misdoing and I was to learn about the shady conditions of his death. [There is my information:] He would have died in Toulouse, on the way back a place "heroes" do not go. I also was told people intended to polish the General's boots would have interest to conceal the fact. Anyway, excuse me if I have hurt you, but after reading a couple of messages of yours (was that a misdeal?), I was mistaken about your knowledge. Anyway people in America often have problems with European geography (boiling down France to Paris...) and I told you I put places first!! Feel free to argue my point of view, I respect yours if it's without ulterior motive, as for me I know my sources were totally trustworthy - I didn't come down with the last shower - and I am convinced. Who knows when undecidability will make us chat again ;) --------------------- Helen |
