Can't you tell that it is just a game these people play? All the Arameans are from the same denomination just like all Chaldeans are Roman Catholic and years ago it was only nestorians calling themselves Assyrians. What this community has done is apply names to their own denominations without much care or knowledge about the ancients. Fred Aprim or whoever else can't convince me that he really cares about Assyrians but why not when there is a little benefit involved.
