I should apologize to Arrow for calling him a sadist... but not for the cheap "fake" attempted insult. I not sure if he's contemplated suicide, but, I offer a second apology; afterall, I'm a gentleman. As far as his criminal argument, I was once in a company of an ex-con and recovering drug addict. From the moment we began to conversate he brought up "Jesus" and "The Lord" and "let's pray, my brother", and all the rest of it. When he started telling me that "He" made him steal and "He" is responsible for his sins.. I just couldn't find a way to make him understand that "He" (the Devil) is really him.. "He" is the choices he made and the actions he took.. But this is a guy who grew up in an impoverished, violent neighborhood, no father, mother never home: working, no education, between stealing and robbing and jail, his only safety net was "Jesus"... and honestly, it kept in line... until the next crime, when "He" told him to drive drunk.. --------------------- |
