Yes, I believe that Amy Goodman cares about Iraq. She may have been born Jewish, and perhaps she practices her faith (not sure), although I did see her speak on a Jewish holiday, so perhaps not. I believe that she is wise enough to regularly report stories critical of stereotypically "Jewish" things like the apartheid state of Israel, etc. and she is my main trusted source of news and information. Yes, the middle east is slowly balkanizing, and it is unfortunate. If only our own people there, that is, all of the inhabitants, were smart enough to see it coming decades ago and do something about it.
