Almost every Assyrian I have ever met felt this way. They love comparing themselves to europeans and especially the ones you mentioned. Christianity has definitely something to do with it and feeling weak is another reason. I have family members who behave that way and will even relate themselves to an English person before even saying they're from the Middle East. When you ask an Assyrian what he is, most of the time he will say Christian before anything and then he will try to explain that he is not an arab; as if the redneck who is asking even knows. Then you also got other darkies who behave that way. I know an Iraqi who is darker than Obama and his hair is closer to black people and he somehow thinks he is white. The only reason I even realized it is because he got upset that I kept pointing out what white people do and then he went out of his way to defend them. I asked if he was white and he said "yes of course" in arabic. It's unbelievable how ignorant these people are. There are also africans who convert to christianity due to missionary propaganda and they change their names to Robert, Steve and other western names. It has a lot to do with ignorance and the kind of education they receive. The other day I was at a gas station and the fucking Indian worker was sucking up to a white customer before me but I didn't get the same friendly service that the white one got. They all look up to white people and wish to be like them. I'm kind of an alien to my folks because I point out what white people do and they don't understand how I mock them. I have to remind them that they wipe their ass with toilet paper, hate to take showers and smell like urine, pork and cheap beer. I know this assyrian who admitted that nobody in his family ate pork in Iraq yet here he was eating it, and I didn't really care as that's his choice but then he tells me he is christian and can eat it all he wants and that he does it to make muslims angry. Now this is where you know these people have mental problems when they do something simply to offend someone else out of hate. Either eat because you enjoy it or go fuck your self. My father is different in that regard and never considered himself white and never stops talking about them. Of course it helps that he is educated and not religious. You gotta be stupid if you are as dark as a indian and somehow think you're white. This was one of the goals when the white man when into the dark world trying to gain converts with pictures of a white man/god who was their savior. My mother gets angry when she sees black people with black jesus pictures and I tell her why shouldn't they. They want god to be their color just as you want him to be white. I doubt white people or even assyrians would remain christians if they saw jesus and resembled more a dark skinned arab with a huge black beard or he looked like he was from ethiopia. As much as assyrians hate it, they are closer related to the arabs, kurds and turks they have lived with than they are to an italian, german or french. --------------------- |
