That's true, the Bahais are the persecuted minority. I even remember how during the Revolution a rumor was spread that the Shah was Bahai. I know of many Jewish and Assyrian Iranians who go back frequently and buy land in Iran. I've never heard one complaint. The only time I heard an Assyrian complain was by a man who was being interviewed as he was leaving Iran, who said that if a Muslim and a Christian were competing for the same job, the Muslim would get the job soley based on his name and religion. I can only wait to see how he'll feel when he comes to America and has to compete with "Bob" and "Harry" for employment. --------------------- |
