Ragarding Iran, BH Levy has mobilized (among others) the Royalist, wealthy Iranians living in Europe and US to advocate against the IRI by jumping on - and hijacking - the bandwagon in condemning the stoning of Sakineh Ashtiani. His concern is not Ashtiani's human rights. Far from it; since he, only months before he began speaking out against Iran, was standing far and secure from the phosphorus bombs blasting apart the civilians of Gaza during "Cast Lead" in Dec. 2009, admiring the Israeli Defense Forces for being the only "moral army" in the world -- a sick, outdated cliche. If he is an intellectual and concerned about Iranian people, then why has he not organized artists and intellectuals in solidarity with famed Iranian filmmaker, Jafar Panahi -- whose been sentenced to a 6-year prison term and not allowed to make any films the next 20 years for supporting the Green Movement?
