Ive watched in the past and it's crazy how some of the regulars on TV have been to this club. I am not a big fan of Alex but I respect him and he has points on a lot of issues. He is an independent journalist who researches and has his team of researchers. His redneck accent makes him sound dumb and he can get carried away with that whole 666 and Bible crap. I think his fear of social programs comes from ignorance and growing up during the cold war. He is also influenced by Ron Paul as you mentioned and I remember him telling Cynthia that he doesn't like socialism because it leads to dictatorship and loss of freedom. This comment made me realize he was ignorant, but he does praise praise Cuba at times and he praised Gaddafi and said that he turned Libya into a "jewel in Africa". I saw him interview George Galloway and he was very respectful to him, but it sounded funny listening to him speak with his Texas slang and GG sounded so superior to him.
