Strangely enough, the war reminds me of a movie that I just saw, called "Who Killed the Electric Car". The technology existed to create a car that requires little-to-no maintenance, had few moving parts, and which could plug in at home. What happened? The big automakers crushed the cars, then shifted the government's focus and billions in tax revenue on hydrogen powered fuel cells. That is pie in the sky. So, we are spending billions on hydrogen fuel cell pie in the sky that may never actually be in production, that may never work, when the WORKING electric car, the reliable electric car, is crushed and hidden. Great movie. Go see it. It should be called "Why we are in Iraq, and also who killed the electric car?" --------------------- |
