I'm convinced that the reason Chaldeans are further along on the evolutionary scale than Assyrians is that they have never asked for or expected Iraq to give them anything.

Neither Assyrians nor Chaldeans can prove anything...so it follows logically that Chaldeans, at least, don't expect or demand a country of their own...this has kept them grounded, serious and free to develop and grow intellectually...Assyrians, on the famous other hand, are forever stuck...trapped at a serious stage of arrested development...in other words being Assyrian, in the strict national sense, makes you stupid and keeps you immature, whereas being Chaldean, no matter the lack of proof etc. allows Chaldeans to take themselves seriously and be taken seriously.
